A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant to join the Melbourne office of a leading Australian law firm, providing high level administrative and file management support to two highly regarded Partners within the firm's Financial Services team. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting the management of litigated matters from commencement through to resolution. This role offers the chance to join an expanding and supportive team, where you'll be warmly welcomed from day one. The Opportunity: This is a busy and varied position that will see you supporting in all aspects of admin, file support and overall practice management, including: Preparing court documents and briefs for counsel Managing Partners' diaries and inboxes Coordinating travel and meeting arrangements Managing monthly billing and expense reconciliation Client reporting Liaising with clients, counsel and other stakeholders Assisting with matter administration and ensuring deadlines are met Providing day-to-day practice support to help keep matters progressing smoothly About You To be considered for this opportunity, you'll ideally bring: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Legal PA from within a Litigation practice group Strong organisational and time management skills A proactive and self-motivated approach Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills If you're an experienced litigation Legal Assistant looking for a long-term legal support opportunity within a supportive and exciting practice area working closely with Partners to support the success of their practice, we'd love to hear from you.
